Creating a skill based report to analyze resources

You can create a report to analyze resources based on their primary skills to understand if there is optimum utilization of their skills. For example, if resources with certain skills are underutilized, you can plan to realign or provide additional training to these resources.

You should perform the following steps in the Resource Management dashboard that you have created as part of the Creating KPIs for Resource Management and Creating employment type based reports to analyze resources tasks:

  1. Click the Insert visualization icon from the toolbar to insert a blank visualization.
  2. From the GALLERY panel, click the Grid visualization type.
  3. From the DATASETS panel, drag the Primary Skill attribute into the Rows field of the Editor panel.
  4. Drag the following metrics into the Metrics field of the Editor panel:

    Tip: To rename the visualization title, click the Visualization drop-down icon in the visualization title bar and then click Rename.

The report is displayed as a grid with the corresponding values.
