Creating KPIs for Resource Management dashboard

KPIs provide a quick glance at certain critical metrics, which enables the Resource Manager to identify irregularities and take decisions to resolve these issues. For example, if the capacity utilization percentage of resources goes below a certain threshold limit, the KPI is displayed in red indicating an issue with utilization.

You must log in to Digital.ai Intelligence Applications and perform the following steps in the Resource iCube of the PPA solution:

  1. From the GALLERY panel, click the KPI widget visualization type.
  2. From the ITPA_Resources dataset in the DATASETS panel, drag the No. of Resources metric into the Editor panel.
  3. Click the Insert visualization icon from the toolbar to insert a blank visualization.
  4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create KPIs for Resource Allocation % and Capacity Utilization % metrics.
  5. Optional: To set thresholds for the KPIs, perform the following steps:
    1. Click the required KPI and click the icon in the editor.
    2. Under Thresholds, click Add.
    3. Specify the From and To values and select a color for the threshold.
    4. Click Add if you want to add another threshold.

Tip: To rename the visualization title, click the icon in the visualization title bar and click Rename.

The KPIs are displayed with the appropriate values.
