Portfolio Manager's View

The PPA Portfolio Manager's View dashboard allows a Portfolio Manager to monitor the performance of projects and Project Managers within the selected portfolios. Using this dashboard, you can view the distribution of projects within the portfolio based on their status, monitor the performance of Project Managers based on cost and schedule variances, and monitor various aspects of the projects managed by them such as Sub Project Count, Project Planned Start Date and Actual Start Date, and variances in cost, effort, and schedule. Additionally, for the selected Portfolio Managers, you can also view the Project Success Ratio, percentage of projects that were completed within the planned budget and time, and the distribution of projects based on the risk associated with them.

In summary, this dashboard helps a Portfolio Manager answer the following questions:

How are my portfolios performing in terms of variances in cost and schedule?
Which projects in portfolios are at high risk?
How are my projects performing in terms of cost and schedule variances?
What percentage of my projects were completed within the planned budget or schedule?
How are my Project Managers performing in terms of cost and schedule variances?

Note: This dashboard is currently not available as the Snapshot feature is still in development.

This dashboard consists of the following sections:

Projects Distribution: This section contains a bubble graph showing the distribution of projects based on EVM_Cost Variance % and EVM_Schedule Variance %.
Portfolio Performance Metric Trends: This section displays the month-on-month performance for the selected portfolios in terms of overall risk, effort, and cost variances.
Note: This section is currently not available as the Snapshot feature is still in development.
Projects Managers Performance: This section displays a heat map where each rectangle represents a Project Manager. The size of each rectangle is based on the Cost Variance % associated with their projects.
Projects: This section displays a grid with project-related information such as Project Planned Start Date, Project Actual Start Date, Cost, Schedule and Effort variances. To view projects managed by specific Project Managers, select one or more Project Managers from the Projects Managers Performance section.
